Green Financing


As part of CapitaLand Ascendas REIT’s commitment to build a green and sustainable portfolio, the Green Finance Framework (the “Framework”) has been established since 2020 in line with the Green Bond Principles (2021) as well as the Green Loan Principles (2023).

The Framework outlines the criteria and guidelines for CapitaLand Ascendas REIT and its subsidiaries to allocate and manage the proceeds raised from its green bonds or green loans. Proceeds from the green bonds or green loans will be used to fund Green Projects covering the areas of green buildings, renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management, sustainable water management and clean transportation. With these Green Projects, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT strives to continuously contribute towards the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
